Clear Creek Vineyard & Winery is a boutique winery in a rustic setting that utilizes grapes from our own organically farmed vineyard. We have planted twelve of the most classic grape vine varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Petit Sirah, and Petit Verdot. Our whites wines include: Chardonnay, Viognier, Riesling, and Chardonnel. We place an emphasis on quality by aging our red wines before selling to consumers. Clear Creek Vineyard and Winery produces RIO CLARO WINES with seven approved labels by the TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau). We provide tastings, meetings and events at our winery.

Absolutely wonderful! I can't speak highly enough of my experience at Clear Creek Vineyard and Winery in Camp Verde, home of Rio Claro Wines. This is a must-stop for any wine lover. Idyllic, rustic setting, but easy access right off Highway 260. Ignacio and Sue Mesa are creating outstanding wines using the grapes grown on-site in their vineyard. A tasting at this winery is like stepping into a family vineyard in France or Italy. What you are seeing is a labor of love and will be unlike any of the more commercial wine-tasting experiences you might have had. Ignacio and Sue are wonderful hosts and will share their passion for wine-making with you. After my first tasting there with husband and friends, we returned with our 16-person wine club and had a wonderful time. If you see the gate closed, don't drive away because you would be missing out on a truly special experience. It probably means they are both working in the vineyard. Just call the number listed on the gate (or call ahead to make an appointment) and be ready for a wonderful afternoon of wine-tasting. After three trips there, my favorite wine changes each time: Terciopelo, Gran Rojas, Gran Blancas. Don't miss it!! It is right off Highway 260 about 7 miles east of the I-17 interchange.
