Locally or Family Owned Business Notes

The Mile High Grill and Inn is i n the old Clinkscale Merchantile that was built in 1898 after 4 fires burned down most of Jerome. When the current owner, Liz Gale, was a child she knew the restaurant and Inn as the Candy Kitchen where she would buy sweets as a tasty treat after walking uptown.  Liz's family has owned a house in Jerome since 1960 and she spent many summers traipsing the hills of the tiny town when it was truly a ghost town. In 2004 Liz bought the building and started the businesses of the Mile High Grill and Inn. The Charming 7 room Inn has been renovated with the help of Liz's mother a well known Interior Designer. Each room is unique in decor ranging from original oil paintings to beautiful Japanese block prints. The three front facing rooms have a view of the Verde Valley and the Red Rocks of Sedona. It is a great homebase when you visit Jerome.

ADA Accessibility Notes

The Inn is only accessible by stairs.
