Verde Valley Birding and Nature Festival

The 16th annual Verde Valley Birding and Nature Festival consists of field trips lead by experienced guides in beautiful central Arizona's diverse habitats. Guided walks and workshops, vendors and exhibitors along with special events round out the four day event. New field trips are added each year to the schedule of old favorites. A special Family Nature Fair on Saturday brings the joy of Nature to youngsters and introduces new birders to this enjoyable hobby.

Registration begins Feb. 1 on-line at Trips fill quickly so register early. Dates are April 21 - 24, 2016 and the event is held at beautiful Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood, Arizona. You can camp right there at the event site or stay in a nearby hotel or comfortable B & B. Check out the website at for all the details.There's lots to learn. Join us as we "Bird the Verde".

This and many other fine nature-based events is presented by Verde River Valley Nature Organization, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization raising awareness of our natural resources by providing recreation, education and nature tourism opportunities supporting the stewardship of the Verde Valley in Northern Arizona.
